The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) successfully completed two 15-day skill development programs in Lemmi, Pakke Kessang district, under the Micro Entrepreneurship Development Project (MEDP). The training, focused on bakery and soap making, aimed to empower women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by providing them with essential entrepreneurial skills. Over 60 SHG women participated in the program.

The initiative helps SHG women achieve financial independence and contribute to the local economy. Many participants have already started their own businesses, creating jobs and boosting livelihoods.
