Kibambe Felix, founder of Community Media and Television Northeast India (CMTV NEI), has transformed the media landscape in Northeast India. His journey from a small village in Manipur’s Ze Mnui to leading a pioneering media platform is a story of passion and perseverance.
Early Life and Education
Raised in a humble background, Kibambe was deeply influenced by community values. He pursued education at Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur, and St. Xavier College, Jalukie, gaining skills that shaped his career.
Career and Return to Roots
After working in banking and telecom in Delhi, Kibambe felt disconnected from his homeland. Volunteering with local organizations and serving as a para-legal in Senapati helped him understand community challenges. His role as Marketing Incharge and PRO at a local media house convinced him of the power of media in driving social change.
Founding CMTV NEI
Determined to give a voice to the marginalized communities of the Northeast, Kibambe launched CMTV NEI with a small team and a strong vision. Today, it has grown into a powerful platform for regional development and social impact.
A Legacy of Change
Through CMTV NEI, Kibambe has created a space for unheard voices and inspired many to contribute to society. His story is a reminder that passion and purpose can bring about real change.
